My name is Galina Vitols. I am a wedding photographer and artist living in Miami, FL. I photograph weddings since 2003 helping local and destination brides in creating their BEAUTIFUL memories. Photographing weddings and events is my passion; you see it through my work. I am one of those lucky people who do what they love for a living. This is a real joy! My story
My very first camera (Russian ZENIT) I got at age 15. Since then photography has been my passion forever, it is in my blood (I am a second generation photographer). Years ago back in Russia I used to photograph in black and white film, develop and print pictures in my own lab in our bathroom. At that time I had NO IDEA that I will become a wedding photographer living in Miami in the United States.
God had his plans for me! After arriving to Miami to start a new family I had to learn basically everything from scratch. I had to learn how to speak a foreign language and understand what other people say, how to drive a car, and many other things. But I kept taking pictures all the time! This is my nature. I feel that my camera is an extention of me.
My wedding photographer happened to see my work and invited me to work for their studio. This is how I became a wedding photographer. After a while I started my own company Upscale Photo and happily serve my clients ever since.
